I'll be the first to admit that this site is extremely radical. I almost didn't post it because of that. Then I thought about it (and talked to peggyan about it) and decided that there is too much valuable information on the site NOT to post it. Try to overlook the radical stuff and focus on the good information (in other words, chew up the meat and spit out the bones)

Interesting site, but I don't see that they are really overcoming consumerism. Yelling about big corporations, etc. Maybe their definition of consumerism and mine are different?

There is some of that but there is some very good information on that site.

Yeah, that was some of the radical stuff I was talking about. Check out their gardening sections and the information about reusing things.
