Thank you, ladies. No, I don't have a wheat bread or gluten problem. I can eat natural bread without any problems, it is only when I try factory bread with preservatives that I am bothered.

All my new tests came back negative. The Duc, like in quack, said I was normal. I asked him is diarrhea normal for four months and all he would say is you are getting older.

I am now thinking it could be some kind of food allergy, although I have never had one manifest itself in this manner.

I don't know your doctor from any other doctor, but I wouldn't like him. He can't figure out the problem so it's because you're getting older?

Below is a link you might want to review. It has a list of causes. I noticed that it has a list of rare causes at the bottom. You might take a moment to check off each one. After suffering this long with these symptoms, it may be time to look into each one?
P.S. You have to scroll down a half page or so to see the article.

Explorer, Are you on a well or city water? One thing we had checked was our water as it could cause trouble.

I am on a rural well about a mile from my place. My house water is fed from a large tank. I am near the end of the line as I live down by the Creek (seasonal here in dry AZ). Being I am at a low spot my water is used as one of the yearly test sites. I get a copy and apparently no problems. Every drop of water I consume is run thru a Big Berkey water filter unit.

Andrew, Thank you I will check that site later. I am not spending as much time on line as before. While I have rebounded from the stress of last week and am doing better I still have a ways to go,
